Arrivals & Departures app good for
Seems at first glance pretty brilliantly done. I searched for my "yardstick" airport: Diyarbakir, in Kurdish Turkey. First of all, it even HAS the airport, and second, it has a pin dropped square on the hotel Ive stayed at very happily. Locally here at home, the restaurants it lists just happen to be the exact five favorites I eat at all the time near my home. It could be luck? As we know, travel apps are tricky; some miss the best hotel closest to us and start with one wed never stay at even though the nearest and best one is part of a national chain. So when one of these apps tells you where things are that you already know are good, I at least am more willing to trust it if I was off to Diyarbakir for the first time and knew nothing about the city. As far as the flights and gates and maps, thats hard to get those things too very wrong since it all comes from other sources anyway. The only thing I would remedy immediately is that there is no website link available to the hotels and/or restaurants once you open a pin for one, ala Yelp. That shouldnt be such a big deal to fix, and it seems like the app is so complete otherwise that not having this feature is pretty surprising. You get the phone number and address of the restaurant or hotel, but the web link is important and very much a time saver, which is what these apps are all about anyway, yes? Great first serve though.
I have found all of my airports and this app has given me a heads up on delays and cancilations. I do wish you could just list flight numbers to find what is going on rather than going through long list.
I have made some favorites but dont know how I did it.

Some bad moments
I wish there was a way to see if your airport was listed in the app before you buy. This was a complete waste of my money.
I bought because app claimed to show restaurants "in and around" airports. Im at OHare and its showing NONE at the airport and EIGHT around it. Really? 8 restaurants? This info is sadly lacking. The flight info appears to be accurate. This app in current state is worth about .50-dont pay 1.99!
Ive had this app for awhile, and I really liked it in the beginning. But after the Apple 4 update, it will no longer give the flight times. It just says null. I contacted the company and they say nothing is wrong with it. I uninstalled and reinstalled a few times but it still wont work. Very disappointing!
